Legal
Terms of Use
Effective 7 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [Your legal name or company name] (ABN [Your ABN]), who runs Harmony. Please read them. By creating an account or using Harmony you agree to them.
1. What Harmony is
Harmony is a shared planning app for couples — calendar, meals, money, goals, travel, memories and related tools. It is a planning aid only. It does not provide financial, tax, investment, legal, medical or relationship advice, and nothing in the app should be treated as such.
2. Your account and your shared space
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Harmony is organised around a shared “couple” space. When you invite a partner, they can see and edit the content in that shared space, subject to the settings available in the app. Only invite someone you are comfortable sharing it with.
- Information you give us must be accurate and you must have the right to share it.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share;
- use Harmony to monitor, track or control another person without their knowledge and consent;
- attempt to access other people’s data, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use bots or scrapers against it;
- resell or provide the service to others without our written permission.
4. Plans, trials and payment
- Harmony has a free plan and paid plans (currently Harmony Plus and Harmony Premium). Prices are shown in Australian dollars on our pricing page and are per couple, not per person.
- Paid plans may begin with a free trial (currently 14 days). A payment card is required to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and your card is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- If you downgrade, your shared data is not deleted, but features and limits of the lower plan apply.
- We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice. Changes apply from your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights to a refund or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Your content
You own the content you put into Harmony — your events, notes, photos, recipes, goals and so on. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to run the service for you and your partner. We do not sell your content or use it to advertise to you.
6. Connected services and AI features
- Some features connect to third-party services you choose to link, such as Google Calendar, PocketSmith, Xero, e-commerce stores or Alexa. Your use of them is also governed by their own terms, and you can disconnect them at any time.
- Some features use AI to suggest recipes, trip ideas, prompts and summaries. AI suggestions can be wrong or out of date — check anything important (such as allergens, prices, opening hours or travel requirements) before relying on it.
- Information such as weather, exchange rates, asset prices, parcel tracking, and book, film and podcast data comes from third parties and is provided as-is, without a guarantee of accuracy or availability. Money and investment figures are for your own planning and are not advice.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Harmony reliable but it may occasionally be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what your plan includes.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your shared planner from the settings in the app at any time, and you can stop using the service whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why where we reasonably can. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
9. Our responsibility
The Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services are provided with due care and skill. Subject to those rights and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data you did not back up, or loss arising from third-party services or from your reliance on information in the app. Where we are liable and the law allows us to limit that liability, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, or, if you prefer, to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Harmony after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of that place have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
